Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Argenteuil's Norbert Cacheux started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Braye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donatien Pinelli's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Donatien Pinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leon Braye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Argenteuil's zone, Raoul Bourre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Braye came out of the goal and Raoul Bourre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Raoul Bourre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Argenteuil's Achille Foy got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Norbert Cacheux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Josselin Geffard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josselin Geffard made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jean-Baptiste Castello sent off a good shot on target. When Jean-Baptiste Castello came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Argenteuil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Baptiste Castello couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Donatien Pinelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Braye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salindres's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Norbert Cacheux scored to the left of an out of position Josselin Geffard, making the score, 1-1. Leon Braye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Bourre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatien Pinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Braye having to interfere. With his leg Josselin Geffard managed to avoid a goal in the 49thth minute, when Argenteuil's Jean-Baptiste Castello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donatien Pinelli to make the kick off. Leon Braye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raoul Bourre in the 55th minute. Jean-Baptiste Castello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Raoul Bourre sped through Argenteuil's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leon Braye. Donatien Pinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Braye having to interfere. Norbert Cacheux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Josselin Geffard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Salindres's Raoul Bourre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Braye narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Salindres's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Cacheux came free, but Josselin Geffard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Pinelli in the 96th minute of play forced Argenteuil's goalkeeper Leon Braye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Argenteuil's zone, Donatien Pinelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Braye came out of the goal and Donatien Pinelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Salindres eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
