Salindres's supporters rose to their feet, but Raoul Bourre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Gigon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseph Gigon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatien Pinelli in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Pinelli in the 8th minute of play forced Thumeries's goalkeeper Joseph Gigon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Galus hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Nasip in the 10th minute of play forced Salindres's goalkeeper Josselin Geffard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Donatien Pinelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Gigon was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Joseph Gigon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatien Pinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Josselin Geffard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şakir Nevruz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Joseph Gigon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatien Pinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Joseph Gigon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronald Goursaud showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. In the 44th minute Şakir Nevruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josselin Geffard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josselin Geffard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şakir Nevruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şakir Nevruz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Thumeries's Adrien Poupard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josselin Geffard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Thumeries reached it. In the 56th match minute, Salindres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prosper Bouras to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Salindres got a freekick which was hit by Theo Vial. Thumeries's Joseph Gigon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatien Pinelli in the 63rd minute of play. Joseph Gigon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatien Pinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Galus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Geffard having to interfere. Joseph Gigon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raoul Bourre in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Donatien Pinelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Gigon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Thumeries made a substitution. Marc Caillet replaced Florent Galli. Joseph Gigon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatien Pinelli in the 90th minute of play. If Raoul Bourre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salindres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Thumeries had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
