If Denis Bossut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Mulonnière's Marc-Antoine Hartmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timothé Dubief narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Vendeville got a freekick which was hit by Michaël César. Marc-Antoine Hartmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timothé Dubief read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Timothé Dubief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc-Antoine Hartmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marc-Antoine Hartmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Timothé Dubief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Auguste Ney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Bossut in the 31st minute. Auguste Ney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamza Vince in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Vendeville got a freekick which was hit by David Bouchard. If Léopold Frantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Marc-Antoine Hartmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Léopold Frantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Mulonnière's Léopold Frantz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timothé Dubief narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vendeville getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. David Bouchard hit a great ball. Timothé Dubief stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léopold Frantz's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Salim Janet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mulonnière's supporters rose to their feet, but Salim Janet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timothé Dubief breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mulonnière booed when Vendeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donatien Stutzmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mulonnière's Mathieu Brunon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vendeville. Fabian Delplace kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léopold Frantz in the 81st minute of play forced Vendeville's goalkeeper Timothé Dubief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Vendeville's Timothé Dubief got control of the ball when Marc-Antoine Hartmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Denis Bossut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Auguste Ney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamza Vince fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Auguste Ney having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamza Vince in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Auguste Ney saved Mulonnière from getting behind. Denis Bossut struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Auguste Ney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vendeville.
