The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Batiste Largilliere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Parisi was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Toufik Gardin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toufik Gardin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 10th minute Batiste Largilliere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alou Hellec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Orgeval booed when Rosendaël was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Paul Nadal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Parisi made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Toufik Gardin sent off a good shot on target. Alou Hellec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batiste Largilliere in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Toufik Gardin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Rosendaël got a freekick which was hit by Bart Travert. After 28 minutes of play, Orgeval's Toufik Gardin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Parisi was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard, long distance shot from Jean-Paul Nadal flew over the goal. Rosendaël's attentive Nathanaël Mirabel managed to snatch the ball when Rodrigo Poulin made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batiste Largilliere made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocelyn Vernhet in the 52nd minute of play forced Rosendaël's goalkeeper Carlos Parisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Batiste Largilliere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosendaël's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batiste Largilliere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batiste Largilliere came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alou Hellec could save by the left post. Batiste Largilliere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Batiste Largilliere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosendaël fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Orgeval getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jocelyn Vernhet hit a great ball. A hard shot by Robert Poudroux from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Alou Hellec's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 69 minutes, Batiste Largilliere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batiste Largilliere who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alou Hellec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jean-Paul Nadal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosendaël's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Paul Nadal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alou Hellec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Jocelyn Vernhet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batiste Largilliere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alou Hellec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
