When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Mendy made a kick off. Voreppe's Jean-Yves Sylvestre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Voreppe from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Theo Mendy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Yves Sylvestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Theo Mendy took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jean-Yves Sylvestre to make any attempt to save it. Valois's Theo Mendy got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Voreppe's zone, Theo Mendy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Yves Sylvestre came out of the goal and Theo Mendy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierre Dusart charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre Dusart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Voreppe's Pierre Dusart got a free kick in the 97th minute.
