Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Albert Benoist made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Lamine Serret got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamine Serret in the 7th minute of play forced Pompignac's goalkeeper Rachid Duplessis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pompignac booed when Avully was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivier Le Forestier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Charles-Henri Nouhaud came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Pompignac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles-Henri Nouhaud couldn't finish the play. Lamine Serret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronan Gatto kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Avully's Albert Benoist got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Émile Passemard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Patxi Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lamine Serret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Duplessis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Émile Passemard in the 36th minute of play forced Avully's goalkeeper Patxi Schmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Patxi Schmid managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Pompignac's Charles-Henri Nouhaud fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
The wind increased when Émile Passemard made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Avully got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Châtard. Marcel Guillotte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Alain Watier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Watier in the 68th minute of play forced Pompignac's goalkeeper Rachid Duplessis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Watier scored 0-3 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rachid Duplessis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rachid Duplessis made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Lamine Serret sent off a good shot on target. After 83 minutes, Alain Watier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avully and the Pompignac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alain Watier kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Émile Passemard in the 88th minute of play forced Avully's goalkeeper Patxi Schmid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Émile Passemard might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patxi Schmid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Émile Passemard ran back to his position shaking his head. Avully's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
