Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Herbert Bourlet made the kick off and thus started the match. Zillisheim's Clement Souque got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fernand Lecroq fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zillisheim's protests and gave Fernand Lecroq a yellow card for diving instead. Fernand Lecroq kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Franceschini during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zillisheim getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Christopher Franceschini hit a great ball. Mounir Villette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Poteaux-Carrés's Mounir Brien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clement Souque in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zillisheim's zone, Herbert Bourlet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Boulenger came out of the goal and Herbert Bourlet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herbert Bourlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastien Boulenger having to interfere. FC Poteaux-Carrés's Mounir Villette managed to work through Zillisheim's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Mounir Villette dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 31st minute, Herbert Bourlet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Poteaux-Carrés fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute, Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anthony Dragon kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Christophe Perie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mounir Brien. FC Poteaux-Carrés's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon in the 39th minute of play forced FC Poteaux-Carrés's goalkeeper Mounir Brien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mounir Brien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Anthony Dragon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clement Souque's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Mounir Brien skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mounir Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, FC Poteaux-Carrés's goalkeeper Mounir Brien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clement Souque. Clement Souque's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mounir Brien firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Poteaux-Carrés's Mounir Brien got control of the ball when Clement Souque tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bastien Boulenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Bourlet in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Mounir Villette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Poteaux-Carrés's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mounir Villette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Bourlet took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bastien Boulenger. Bastien Boulenger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Bastien Boulenger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Bourlet's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Mounir Villette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute Pierre-Emmanuel Pichon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mounir Brien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mounir Brien made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Clement Souque sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th match minute, Zillisheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Perie to maneuver through the defense. Clement Souques short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Mounir Brien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mounir Brien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clement Souque went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Fernand Lecroq in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Poteaux-Carrés's Mounir Villette. If Mounir Villette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
