Arthur Huin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alban Pestel in the 22nd minute of play forced Olympique lyonnais's goalkeeper Malcom Dallier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Norbert Claquin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solbre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Grégory Sauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry Gérin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Grégory Sauer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solbre's supporters rose to their feet, but Grégory Sauer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcom Dallier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Solbre could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olympique lyonnais throughout the match.
