The supporters of Nonardie booed when Floirac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayan Dhont didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Marco Cahen in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Antoine Gasquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floirac's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Gasquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léon Chapus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Cahen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th match minute, Floirac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Sélosse to maneuver through the defense. Luka Vaz, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marco Cahen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Miclo having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Floirac's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Cahen came free, but Teddy Miclo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Floirac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayan Dhont to maneuver through the defense. François Reynaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. François Reynaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Teddy Miclo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Floirac. Bacary Farnier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Léon Chapus. 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jordy Girardot to strike the kick off in the second half. When Willy Schott fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nonardie's protests and gave Willy Schott a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Nonardie got a freekick which was hit by Willy Schott. Adam Piret charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Piret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nonardie! Floirac's Teddy Miclo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by François Reynaert in the 59th minute of play. Teddy Miclo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of François Reynaert's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Teddy Miclo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nonardie's Marco Cahen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 69 played minutes, Nonardie's Davy Papillon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teddy Miclo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nonardie reached it. Floirac's Teddy Miclo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cahen in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Nonardie's zone, Antoine Gasquet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léon Chapus came out of the goal and Antoine Gasquet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Floirac supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Floirac would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
