Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jean Jeanney made the kick off which started today's match. Ramzy Lecoutre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacob Minier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Jean-Pierre Maridet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jean Jeanney took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Samuel Theil to make any attempt to save it. Ramzy Lecoutre kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jacob Minier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramzy Lecoutre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Reims's goal looked a bit too open when Ramzy Lecoutre came free, but Jacob Minier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Andolsheim's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eddy Germain fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Renan Codron charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Codron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Reims getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Djamel Frisch hit a great ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reims's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Davy Freitas was slow to take the kick. During this time Andolsheim's players had a chance to rest. Andolsheim's Davy Freitas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacob Minier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Samuel Theil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Jeanney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramzy Lecoutre charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramzy Lecoutre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Reims booed when Andolsheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramzy Lecoutre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Pierre Maridet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Minier having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Pierre Maridet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ramzy Lecoutre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob Minier came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Andolsheim's Jean-Pierre Maridet. But to his dismay, Jean-Pierre Maridet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jean-Pierre Maridet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Jean-Pierre Maridet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacob Minier. The goal made the score 1-2. After 77 played minutes Andolsheim got a freekick which was hit by Davy Freitas. Reims's Jean Jeanney got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Theil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Germain in the 95th minute of the match. The Andolsheim players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
