Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Édouard Carrot started the match with the kick off. Hercule Lejosne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hakim Scherrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hercule Lejosne in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noël Maurel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chevry's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hercule Lejosne 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Harold Pol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Justin Spitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold Pol charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harold Pol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gwendal Tabard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hakim Scherrer ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Bérenger Poteau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poitevine's supporters rose to their feet, but Bérenger Poteau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noël Maurel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florent Amadieu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jonas Sablayrolles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Spitz having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Hakim Scherrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poitevine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Chevry's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
