Jonas Cathelin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Axel Cizeron's late challenge caught a Wattiessart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Cizeron helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, O.M's Axel Cizeron got a free kick in the 10th minute. Theo Brisseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wattiessart's goalkeeper Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute Theo Brisseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Yannick Brochard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 24th minute, Danny Bunel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yannick Brochard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hiriart having to interfere. When Ewan Carrat fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O.M's protests and gave Ewan Carrat a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes O.M got a freekick which was hit by Ewan Carrat. Yannick Brochard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hiriart having to interfere. When Léo Anselme fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored O.M's protests and gave Léo Anselme a yellow card for diving instead. Yannick Brochard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Hiriart having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Wattiessart's Yannick Brochard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ruben Hiriart. Ruben Hiriart yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Cizeron made a kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Axel Cizeron from a close distance when the talented Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch managed to make a qualified save. Wattiessart's players were relieved. Axel Cizeron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Axel Cizeron notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wattiessart's Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch. Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yannick Brochard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Yannick Brochard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Hiriart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wattiessart's Marc-Olivier Hellegouarch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Wattiessart from getting a goal against them. The Wattiessart supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching O.M's performance. The match ended with a win for O.M.
