The supporters of Moineville booed when FC Saint Malo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Vanlerberghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Luc Cronier from a close distance when the talented Augustin Ménant managed to make a qualified save. FC Saint Malo's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Moineville's Eugène Lamoureux got a free kick in the 31st minute. When FC Saint Malo's Tommy Chaffard in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Léo Graille guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Luc Cronier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augustin Ménant firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Théophile Poirrier fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Saint Malo's protests and gave Théophile Poirrier a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Saint Malo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Théophile Poirrier hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Moineville's Luc Cronier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Ménant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Léo Graille made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Chaffard in the 40th minute of play. Sofyane Aure fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Ménant having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Chaffard to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Moineville got a freekick which was hit by Marvin Jouanin. Augustin Ménant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofyane Aure in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Moineville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émile Galliano to maneuver through the defense. Léo Graille acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donatien Desbordes. Luc Cronier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Saint Malo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ahmed Nicod hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmed Nicod during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Kylian Rochat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tommy Chaffard came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Saint Malo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Chaffard couldn't finish the play. Moineville were furious when Marvin Jouanin was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Moineville were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Saint Malo for a fine match.
