The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Octave Coquerelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Vaslin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Octave Coquerelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Harambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurélien Legeay to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Francois Schott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Marco Fallot skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jean-Francois Schott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marco Fallot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrien Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Fallot having to interfere. Guesnain's Raymond Vaslin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octave Coquerelle in the 22nd minute of play. Thibaut Bonaventure kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Harambe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed-Ali Carrie to maneuver through the defense. Adrien Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Fallot having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Guesnain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Mangold to maneuver through the defense. If Adrien Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emile Amalric during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Emile Amalric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prosper Herzog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrien Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marco Fallot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Francois Schott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Herzog in the 62nd minute of play forced Guesnain's goalkeeper Raymond Vaslin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Guesnain's Jean-Francois Schott sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Fallot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrien Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Harambe's Charly Mullier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Charly Mullier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Harambe protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Charly Mullier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, one of Harambe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Harambe. After 83 minutes of play, Harambe's Octave Coquerelle made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raymond Vaslin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Octave Coquerelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Harambe's goalkeeper Marco Fallot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marco Fallot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrien Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Harambe's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Francois Schott came free, but Marco Fallot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adrien Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harambe succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Guesnain had controlled the match.
