The audience was convinced that Adrien Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Le Tallec was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ahmid Langer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jason Le Tallec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darren Ville kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Guesnain's Adrien Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Sidney Maigret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guesnain eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
