Kader Gallardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sidney Auray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Romeo Lions shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Sale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Sale came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Chevalon's Yves Galerne. But to his dismay, Yves Galerne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sidney Auray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordan Haller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Haller in the 47th minute of play forced Chevalon's goalkeeper Sidney Auray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Lions was the one to do the kick off. Darren Sale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yves Galerne's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Yves Galerne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roman Marie-Joseph fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saubens's protests and gave Roman Marie-Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chevalon booed when Saubens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Marie-Joseph didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Romeo Lions had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darren Sale. Saubens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Lions was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Reinhardt during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sidney Auray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordan Haller in the 78th minute of play. If Kader Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saubens's Darren Sale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Lions in the 84th minute of play. Yves Galerne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Sale having to interfere. Yves Galerne scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darren Sale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 minutes, Yves Galerne mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chevalon and the Saubens players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chevalon getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Yves Galerne hit a great ball. Yves Galerne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Lions received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Darren Sale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
