Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Lions started the match with the kick off. Johan Becourt took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Auray. Sidney Auray dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Chevalon's Sidney Auray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Brie in the 7th minute of play. Romeo Lions received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Grégory Amory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romage's Grégory Amory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Galerne in the 15th minute of play. Wilfried Brie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Josselin Frémeaux mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romage and the Chevalon players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Romage:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Chevalon a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frederic Noyer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Romage's Grégory Amory. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Lions in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grégory Amory prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roland Le Men charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Le Men the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Johan Becourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Auray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Wilfried Brie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Auray having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Olivier Delisle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidney Auray. Olivier Delisle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Yves Galerne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Olivier Delisle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romage's Grégory Amory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Lions in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute Yves Galerne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grégory Amory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfried Brie to make the kick off. Sidney Auray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfried Brie went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Johan Becourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sidney Auray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Becourt ran back to his position shaking his head. Sidney Auray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Brie in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Yves Galerne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chevalon's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Galerne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grégory Amory breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yves Galerne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grégory Amory having to interfere. The supporters of Romage booed when Chevalon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desire Bourrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfried Brie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Auray having to interfere. If Wilfried Brie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Johan Becourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romage's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
