With a little luck, Riedwihr's Léo Le Ber got control of the ball when Pierre-Loup Maunoury tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gameiro Niel was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josselin Taffin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Gameiro Niel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camille Lheureux. The goal made the score 0-4. A collision led to Voreppe getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gaston Béhague hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Théophile Paolini got free with Camille Lheureux in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gameiro Niel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, Théophile Paolini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Camille Lheureux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the game, Grégory Champ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riedwihr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Voreppe the free kick. 83 minutes into the match, Riedwihr's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Loup Maunoury came free, but Léo Le Ber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Voreppe's Louison Hanriot got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Brendan Grelaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riedwihr's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
