The wind increased when Grégoire Lesellier made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Clichy's goal looked a bit too open when Pacôme Galaup came free, but Jérémy Simonetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilles Boussac kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rayanne Santamaria kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Jérémy Simonetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-David Lanteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Clichy's Grégoire Lesellier got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Layon booed when Clichy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Sergeant didn't get a good kick on the ball. When John-David Lanteri came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Layon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-David Lanteri couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Clichy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Layon.
