After some careless play in the Massane defense, Ryan Canet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Camus. The Massane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Camus should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Massane's goalkeeper Edmond Camus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Georges Larche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luc Lecompte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sofiane Donnadieu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madjid Érard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Massane reached it. 70 minutes into the game, Massane's Madjid Érard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sofiane Donnadieu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The long shot by Xavier Perrot in the 75th minute really tested Sofiane Donnadieu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luc Lecompte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Georges Larche's late challenge caught a FC Vendée's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Larche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Massane getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Georges Larche hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Mathys Noyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Camus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Massane's Georges Larche got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
