Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Vandenberghe started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pontet's Ramzy Santamaria got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herve Bosc in the 12th minute of play forced Pontet's goalkeeper Raoul Gaborit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Vandenberghe might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raoul Gaborit. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michael Vandenberghe ran back to his position shaking his head. Herve Bosc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Raoul Gaborit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Herve Bosc made a precise shot to the right of Raoul Gaborit. Pontet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Brégille's Freddy Lavaud suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Clovis Moulin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ramzy Santamaria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Terry Ballereau made a huge save. Pontet's Raoul Gaborit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herve Bosc in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Herve Bosc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raoul Gaborit. Pontet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herve Bosc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francis Sanna during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramzy Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Terry Ballereau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terry Ballereau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarod Louchet in the 62nd minute of the match. Terry Ballereau came out of the goal and Ramzy Santamaria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terry Ballereau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramzy Santamaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Terry Ballereau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramzy Santamaria in the 77th minute of the match. When Dilan Demilly fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brégille's protests and gave Dilan Demilly a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Brégille got a freekick which was hit by Dilan Demilly. Faudel Gendreau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramzy Santamaria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Ballereau having to interfere. Faudel Gendreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terry Ballereau having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Vandenberghe during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Brégille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Vandenberghe to maneuver through the defense. Ramzy Santamaria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Terry Ballereau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pontet supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brégille's performance. The match ended with a win for Brégille.
