Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Josselin Delarche got free with Maxime Crépel in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farid Stern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Maxime Crépel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Tristan Baudry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Émeric Leseigneur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugène Marsan in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugène Marsan in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Émeric Leseigneur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Eugène Marsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spicheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugène Marsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noé Montier charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noé Montier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spicheren booed when Maraval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noé Montier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Arnaud Gastal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Émeric Leseigneur. Maxime Crépel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josselin Delarche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Farid Stern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Crépel having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Arnaud Gastal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Farid Stern kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Spicheren's keeper Maxime Crépel was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 43 played minutes Spicheren got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Desrues. Yann Chopard, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arnaud Gastal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Émeric Leseigneur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Spicheren were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josselin Delarche to make the kick off. The supporters of Maraval booed when Spicheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Baudry didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Yann Chopard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Spicheren's Maxime Crépel didn't even have to move. In the 60th minute, Josselin Delarche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Frédéric Paire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Mario Boulange mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maraval and the Spicheren players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maraval's Mario Boulange got a free kick in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Émilien Patout during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, one of Maraval:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maraval. A collision led to Maraval getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Noé Montier hit a great ball. Arnaud Gastal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxime Crépel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josselin Delarche, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaud Gastal in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The Spicheren players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
