Émile Imbault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sébastian Leroy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevan Riche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Champgault booed when Rutel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aymerick Bascou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kevan Riche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Émile Imbault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Champgault's Diego Grimault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Bascou in the 15th minute of play. Diego Grimault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aymerick Bascou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clément Guitard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Champgault's Diego Grimault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Champgault from getting a goal against them. Champgault's Diego Grimault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aymerick Bascou in the 24th minute of play. Émile Imbault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevan Riche in the 28th minute of play. The audience cheered when Hamza Chanteloup's long shot passed Émile Imbault's right side. It was 0-1, 31 minutes into the match. Sébastian Leroy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Émile Imbault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Kevan Riche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Émile Imbault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevan Riche to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Thenot in the 53rd minute of play forced Champgault's goalkeeper Diego Grimault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sébastian Leroy got free with Émile Imbault in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aymerick Bascou scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Grimault, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 played minutes Rutel got a freekick which was hit by Amine Carrillo. 67 minutes into the game, Aymerick Bascou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Diego Grimault was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kevan Riche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Émile Imbault read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Kevan Riche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damien Champagne kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Rutel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevan Riche fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sébastian Leroy got free with Émile Imbault in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Émile Imbault made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Sébastian Leroy sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Champgault players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rutel.
