The supporters of Cameyrac booed when Cergy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvain Boisson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Manoury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th play minute Émeric Rivat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jerome Joulie. 1-0. If Émeric Rivat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Loret might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantin Heyraud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emmanuel Loret ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Loret in the 27th minute of play forced Cergy's goalkeeper Constantin Heyraud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cergy getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sylvain Boisson hit a great ball. Émeric Rivat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cameyrac's Jerome Joulie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Manoury in the 34th minute of play. Cameyrac's Jerome Joulie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cameyrac from getting a goal against them. Sylvain Boisson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerome Joulie firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emmanuel Loret to strike the kick off in the second half. Cergy's Constantin Heyraud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cergy from getting a goal against them. Jean-Christophe Alonso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes Cergy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean-Paul Julien who took care of the corner kick. If Mario Poupon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cameyrac's Emmanuel Loret got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Sylvain Boisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Emmanuel Loret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cameyrac's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Loret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantin Heyraud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cergy getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jean-Christophe Alonso hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Cameyrac's Constantin Heyraud threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emmanuel Loret, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Mario Poupon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Émeric Rivat struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jerome Joulie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cergy.
