Claude Boscher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maurice Morales. Neuvecelle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Axel Margueritte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludovic Lagorce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Redouane Catala in the 19th minute of the match. Brice Yon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Maurice Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brice Yon in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurice Morales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurice Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Yon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Neuvecelle's Batiste Silvestri got a free kick in the 27th minute. Batiste Silvestri kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Redouane Catala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurice Morales. Neuvecelle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Redouane Catala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Brice Yon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Génicourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Boscher to maneuver through the defense. The Neuvecelle players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Génicourt were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludovic Lagorce made a kick off. If Donatien Évesque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurélien Meynier in the 53rd minute of play forced Génicourt's goalkeeper Axel Margueritte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aurélien Meynier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Neuvecelle's Ludovic Lagorce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Margueritte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Brice Yon sped through Neuvecelle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurice Morales. Génicourt's Redouane Catala got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Neuvecelle's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Redouane Catala fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Neuvecelle's Maurice Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brice Yon in the 84th minute of play. Redouane Catala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Maurice Morales when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maurice Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brice Yon in the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Jean-Francois Thevenon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Génicourt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Francois Thevenon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Redouane Catala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Yon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Maurice Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Neuvecelle supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Génicourt's performance. The match ended with a win for Génicourt.
