Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Emerchicourt's Youssef Boury started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romaric Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Arnoult in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thibault Wojcik got free with Youri Thibaud in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romaric Orain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Arnoult, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Romaric Orain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Just Neyret in the 14th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Cronenbourg's Just Neyret nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romaric Orain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Just Neyret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Cronenbourg's goalkeeper Youri Thibaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thibault Wojcik. In the 41stth minute of the game Just Neyret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emerchicourt's Romaric Orain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Emerchicourt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cronenbourg:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Arnoult stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Youssef Boury took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Youri Thibaud. Youri Thibaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Youri Thibaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youssef Boury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Thibault Wojcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, Cronenbourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastien Pham to maneuver through the defense. Emerchicourt's Cyril Veyssiere couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cronenbourg. When Grégory Bruneteau fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cronenbourg's protests and gave Grégory Bruneteau a yellow card for diving instead. Grégory Bruneteau kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Cronenbourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Doucet to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Armand Loos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Cyril Veyssiere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Youri Thibaud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Boris Arnoult's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romaric Orain was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Boris Arnoult recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romaric Orain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Arnoult in the 84th minute of the match. Romaric Orain made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Just Neyret sent off a good shot on target. When Modeste Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Emerchicourt's protests and gave Modeste Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Emerchicourt getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Modeste Almeida hit a great ball. In the last second Romaric Orain throw himself and got hold of the ball when Boris Arnoult in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 94th minute Cronenbourg were awarded a corner. Abraham Maze went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cronenbourg's corner Boris Arnoult fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romaric Orain quite easily take care of the ball. Just Neyret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cronenbourg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
