After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Jérémie Tarbouriech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carqueiranne's supporters rose to their feet, but Jérémie Tarbouriech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carqueiranne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave Bastian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Côme Manet might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Théophile Holleville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Côme Manet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Jérémie Tarbouriech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moussa Bergougnoux in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordy Nonnenmacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Carrée's zone, Dave Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Nonnenmacher came out of the goal and Dave Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Côme Manet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Théophile Holleville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Côme Manet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Théophile Holleville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dave Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Nonnenmacher having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After 57 minutes, Dave Bastian made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carrée's Jordy Nonnenmacher tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dave Bastian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordy Nonnenmacher having to make a save. Carqueiranne's Théophile Holleville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Carqueiranne from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joris Rénier in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Théophile Holleville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gameiro Allano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Jérémie Tarbouriech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Carqueiranne's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Rénier came free, but Théophile Holleville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
