Freddy Legendre charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Legendre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Olumpique Lyonnais got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Legendre. In the 22nd minute, Léonard Butet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olumpique Lyonnais fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Elias Cadet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Louison Gustave. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Léonard Butet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
