Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dormont's Emeric Delalande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorien Duval's late challenge caught a Ormes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorien Duval helped the player get up and apologised. 6 minutes into the game, one of Dormont:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaétan Helaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Crampon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Dormont defense, Matthieu Marchandise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Crampon. The Dormont fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Crampon should have stopped the shot. After 23 played minutes Dormont got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Cantin. Alain Martinet, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emeric Delalande in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruce Poilane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reda Sauvageot in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruce Poilane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maurice Crampon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaétan Helaine in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Emeric Delalande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Poilane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruce Poilane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emeric Delalande in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Emeric Delalande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dormont's supporters rose to their feet, but Emeric Delalande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Poilane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Poilane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emeric Delalande, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ormes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emeric Delalande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Reda Sauvageot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute Reda Sauvageot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Poilane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ormes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Élie Faurie hit a great ball. If Reda Sauvageot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emeric Delalande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emeric Delalande in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruce Poilane saved Ormes from getting behind. Emeric Delalande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Poilane having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Emeric Delalande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ormes's Bruce Poilane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dormont were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
