Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddy Collet started the match with the kick off. Bruce Mirande scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jocelyn Le Floch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruce Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jocelyn Le Floch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Mirande in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aix-en-Provence's zone, Octave Bregeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Junior Douillard came out of the goal and Octave Bregeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aix-en-Provence's Jean-Christophe Guénard got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Bruce Mirande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jocelyn Le Floch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. At last the ball reached Fernand Boisselier at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Tournefeuille. 0-2. Tournefeuille's Octave Bregeon got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Freddy Collet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aix-en-Provence's Junior Douillard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valérien Dumesnil's late challenge caught a Tournefeuille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valérien Dumesnil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Aix-en-Provence was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valérien Dumesnil to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Aix-en-Provence's Gildas Vetter got a free kick in the 39th minute. Junior Douillard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Collet in the 41st minute of the match. Junior Douillard was a little too slow when Freddy Collet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Freddy Collet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
In the 52nd minute, Bruce Mirande fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Raoul Moreira hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Jean-Christophe Guénard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jocelyn Le Floch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Douillard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Collet in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Tournefeuille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Collet to maneuver through the defense. If Jean-Christophe Guénard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Octave Bregeon made a precise shot to the right of Junior Douillard. Aix-en-Provence's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Jocelyn Le Floch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Christophe Guénard in the 71st minute. Bruce Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Tournefeuille's Jocelyn Le Floch got control of the ball when Jean-Christophe Guénard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Junior Douillard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octave Bregeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Valérien Dumesnil came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Aix-en-Provence fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valérien Dumesnil couldn't finish the play. Bruce Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jocelyn Le Floch having to interfere. Junior Douillard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octave Bregeon in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Octave Bregeon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Junior Douillard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tournefeuille fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aix-en-Provence had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
