Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sayat's Jean-Pascal Le Metayer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, Sayat's Jean-Pascal Le Metayer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yazid Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sylvain Jacquot came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Montlhéry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylvain Jacquot couldn't finish the play. If Jean-Pascal Le Metayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Montlhéry's Sylvain Jacquot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clem Mansouri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Étienne Magalhaes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Clem Mansouri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Montlhéry's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Ménant came free, but Yazid Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacary Lesur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montlhéry's Sylvain Jacquot got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After having played for 59 minutes, Bacary Lesur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sayat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bacary Lesur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clem Mansouri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Étienne Magalhaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Étienne Magalhaes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Clem Mansouri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montlhéry. In the 74th minute Jean-Pascal Le Metayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yazid Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antoine Ménant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jérémie Sourice charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jérémie Sourice the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sylvain Jacquot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Clem Mansouri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Montlhéry's Yazid Schmidt got control of the ball when Antoine Ménant tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sayat's zone, Sylvain Jacquot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clem Mansouri came out of the goal and Sylvain Jacquot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sayat getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bacary Lesur hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Sayat's goal looked a bit too open when Étienne Magalhaes came free, but Clem Mansouri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bacary Lesur fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sayat's protests and gave Bacary Lesur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Sayat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bacary Lesur to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Étienne Magalhaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Pascal Le Metayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yazid Schmidt having to interfere. Sayat's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
