The supporters of Rives booed when Fontbrun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corentin Cadart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raymond Chabane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matthieu Fourny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jim Cazorla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theophile Delarche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Marie-Sainte in the 15th minute of play. Theophile Delarche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Roth in the 16th minute of the match. Matthieu Fourny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Gaétan Marcus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yann Deshayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yann Deshayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jim Cazorla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rives's Theophile Delarche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Marie-Sainte in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Gaétan Marcus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fontbrun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rives the free kick. The long shot by Raymond Chabane in the 35th minute really tested Jim Cazorla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Matthieu Fourny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Cazorla having to interfere.
Gaétan Marcus hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Yann Deshayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Roth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Theophile Delarche made a huge save. Joachim Roth succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Matthieu Fourny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jim Cazorla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Honore Gervais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Joachim Roth took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Theophile Delarche to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Fourny in the 79th minute of play forced Fontbrun's goalkeeper Jim Cazorla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Roth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sofyane Cabot during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fontbrun's Sofyane Cabot got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jim Cazorla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Fourny, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Matthieu Fourny struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jim Cazorla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rives. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fontbrun were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Rives side.
