The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Lompret's Cyprien Lebigre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Deborde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basile Collin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Parrot having to interfere. Florentin Danion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carl Deborde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Marius Ronsin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lompret fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Lompret getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marius Mariotte hit a great ball. Marcel Parrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basile Collin in the 31st minute. Freddy Vrignon's late challenge caught a Lompret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Vrignon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Beauvais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Vrignon to maneuver through the defense. If Florentin Danion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Lompret's goalkeeper Marcel Parrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basile Collin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marius Ronsin during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyprien Lebigre was the one to do the kick off. Basile Collin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Lompret got a freekick which was hit by Pierrick Bonnel. After a defensive mix-up in Lompret's zone, Marc-Olivier Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Parrot came out of the goal and Marc-Olivier Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Firmin Hauss's late challenge caught a Beauvais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Firmin Hauss helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beauvais booed when Lompret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firmin Hauss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Éthan Pilard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyprien Lebigre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carl Deborde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentin Danion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Deborde having to interfere. The Lompret players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
