Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John-Paul Galopin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, John-Paul Galopin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mourad Delapierre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joël Almeras took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mourad Delapierre. Mourad Delapierre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Nirutham FC's Élie Conil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Eveno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Elange's Xavier Eveno got control of the ball when Élie Conil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xavier Eveno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sébastian Deudon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Élie Conil came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Nirutham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Élie Conil couldn't finish the play. Sébastian Deudon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Elange's zone, Sébastian Deudon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Eveno came out of the goal and Sébastian Deudon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Elange booed when Nirutham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Lebourgeois didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mourad Delapierre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Galopin in the 43rd minute of the match. Mourad Delapierre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joël Almeras in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sébastian Deudon to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nirutham FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sacha Thiers hit a great ball. Nirutham FC's Mourad Delapierre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Nirutham FC from getting a goal against them. John-Paul Galopin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mourad Delapierre having to interfere. Élie Conil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Eveno having to interfere. A collision led to Elange getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jérôme Venon hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Nirutham FC's Sébastian Deudon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavier Eveno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Sébastian Deudon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nirutham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sébastian Deudon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Eveno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xavier Eveno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Élie Conil in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Élie Conil in the 87th minute of play forced Elange's goalkeeper Xavier Eveno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérôme Venon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Elange supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elange would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
