Faouzi Devin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When Moussa Rémy fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pouvourville's protests and gave Moussa Rémy a yellow card for diving instead. Moussa Rémy kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Samuel Guffroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Édouard Chênais hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Djibril Scheer hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Vivien Gavard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Guffroy in the 27th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ajax Amsterdam's goalkeeper Sidney Declercq had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faouzi Devin. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Perchet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ajax Amsterdam booed when Pouvourville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mounir Robert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofiane Seznec charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sofiane Seznec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sofiane Seznec hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Tony Veron, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sidney Declercq showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Perchet in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Faouzi Devin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Declercq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vivien Gavard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Guffroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Faouzi Devin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Declercq having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Amsterdam's zone, Joe Perchet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidney Declercq came out of the goal and Joe Perchet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Faouzi Devin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Vivien Gavard successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sidney Declercq came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pouvourville's Faouzi Devin. But to his dismay, Faouzi Devin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 88 minutes of play Pouvourville's Moussa Rémy was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Ajax Amsterdam booed when Pouvourville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moussa Rémy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes Pouvourville got a freekick which was hit by Dave Alavoine. Charles-Henri Carrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivien Gavard having to interfere. Pouvourville walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
