Florian Le Guern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Couvreur having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Cavaillon City got a freekick which was hit by Chris Boquet. In the 14th minute, Guy Marciniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Florian Le Guern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Cavaillon City got a freekick which was hit by Guy Marciniak. Florian Le Guern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Samuel Couvreur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Cavaillon City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Boquet to maneuver through the defense. Éthan Grison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Samuel Couvreur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Côme Tremoulet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Éthan Grison struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Samuel Couvreur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquisat. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Le Guern stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cavaillon City's Samuel Couvreur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Grison in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Marquisat getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carl Leclair hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Marquisat's Carl Leclair got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cavaillon City's Tom Lachèvre fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Côme Tremoulet in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Tom Lachèvre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Top having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cavaillon City's zone, Éthan Grison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Couvreur came out of the goal and Éthan Grison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Éthan Grison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Grison in the 72nd minute of play forced Cavaillon City's goalkeeper Samuel Couvreur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Florian Le Guern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Couvreur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Le Guern in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Lachèvre got free with Bernard Top in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 84 minutes, Côme Tremoulet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavaillon City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Côme Tremoulet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Éthan Grison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Couvreur having to interfere. Florian Le Guern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Marquisat booed when Cavaillon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Boquet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cavaillon City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
