Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florian Le Guern took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Fréthun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevan Mathevet to maneuver through the defense. If Florian Le Guern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Florian Le Guern who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fréthun's Guy Vinciguerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Éthan Grison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Guy Vinciguerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Benoît Plantard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fréthun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benoît Plantard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Gaël Velly elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Florian Le Guern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Éthan Grison notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fréthun's Guy Vinciguerra. Guy Vinciguerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 played minutes Fréthun got a freekick which was hit by Timothé Colette. Florian Le Guern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Marquisat's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Velly came free, but Bernard Top reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benoît Plantard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Marquisat's Bernard Top played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaël Velly in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Marquisat getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Carl Leclair hit a great ball. The supporters of Marquisat booed when Fréthun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoît Plantard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Éthan Grison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Marquisat's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Velly came free, but Bernard Top reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benoît Plantard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Marquisat's Dorian Landais got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Marquisat got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Bourgeois. With a little luck, Fréthun's Guy Vinciguerra got control of the ball when Éthan Grison tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Kevan Mathevet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fréthun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquisat the free kick. In the 74th minute, Kevan Mathevet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Florian Le Guern's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Vinciguerra was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éthan Grison got free with Guy Vinciguerra in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guy Vinciguerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Le Guern in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fréthun's goalkeeper Guy Vinciguerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marquisat's Éthan Grison got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Marquisat's zone, Kevan Mathevet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Top came out of the goal and Kevan Mathevet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
