Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pierre Gruau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Moyse in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Givors's goalkeeper Pierre Gruau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierre Gruau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Moyse, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Brendan Combes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Mahieux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Jules Duboscq had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre Gruau. Givors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jules Duboscq was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Brendan Combes made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when William Depierre sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Givors's Noel Paire got a free kick in the 25th minute. Jules Duboscq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ethan Mahieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ethan Mahieux took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brendan Combes. Brendan Combes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, William Depierre notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Moineville's Brendan Combes. Brendan Combes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greg Smadja during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Moineville got a freekick which was hit by Greg Smadja. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes Moineville got a freekick which was hit by Greg Smadja. Brendan Combes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Mahieux in the 57th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, William Depierre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Givors's supporters rose to their feet, but William Depierre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendan Combes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ethan Mahieux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendan Combes was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. William Depierre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ethan Mahieux in the 64th minute of play forced Moineville's goalkeeper Brendan Combes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Gruau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Henri Moyse in the 67th minute. Ethan Mahieux blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendan Combes having to make a save. The supporters of Givors booed when Moineville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Smadja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Combes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Mahieux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brendan Combes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ethan Mahieux's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Greg Smadja kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Ethan Mahieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If William Depierre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Greg Smadja was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Greg Smadja kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Moineville's zone, Ethan Mahieux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brendan Combes came out of the goal and Ethan Mahieux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Pierre-Henri Moyse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moineville's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Henri Moyse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Gruau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Givors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
