Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lacanau AFC's Fernand Millier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Fabrice Malo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gaétan Gaze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Erwin Masse fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brunstatt's protests and gave Erwin Masse a yellow card for diving instead. Erwin Masse kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lacanau AFC's Fernand Millier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alain Bachelot. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. The long shot by Pierre Canonne in the 29th minute really tested Alain Bachelot's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alain Bachelot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernand Millier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. If Fabrice Malo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaétan Gaze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabrice Malo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Lacanau AFC's Eugène Boutry broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Yannick Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Fabrice Malo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Gaze having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Yannick Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brunstatt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yannick Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaétan Gaze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrice Malo in the 58th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Côme Fey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabrice Malo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaétan Gaze having to interfere. Yannick Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaétan Gaze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Brunstatt got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Ambroise. Alain Bachelot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Côme Fey in the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lacanau AFC's goalkeeper Gaétan Gaze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yannick Marquez. Alain Bachelot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernand Millier in the 95th minute of play. Côme Fey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alain Bachelot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alain Bachelot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernand Millier's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
