In the 4thth minute of the game Jean-Baptiste Coutelle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grunhutte's Geoffroy Sanchis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Coutelle took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Geoffroy Sanchis to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the match, Grunhutte's Flavian Caparros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hercule Ruiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yann Liot during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes galactico fc got a freekick which was hit by Yann Liot. A well done corner resulted in Lucas Maupin drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind galactico fc's goalkeeper. Grunhutte's Lucas Maupin got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavian Caparros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, galactico fc's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Maupin came free, but Hercule Ruiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Baptiste Coutelle in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geoffroy Sanchis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Grunhutte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Maupin to maneuver through the defense. galactico fc were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Grunhutte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Madjid Boittin took the corner. A collision led to Grunhutte getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Flavian Caparros hit a great ball. Madjid Boittin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Geoffroy Sanchis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for galactico fc. After 41 played minutes Grunhutte got a freekick which was hit by Martial Gineste. The crowd rose to their feet as galactico fc's Joaquim Godot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geoffroy Sanchis. That made the score 2-1 after 43 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Maupin was the one to do the kick off. Valentin Salingue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geoffroy Sanchis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, galactico fc's Madjid Boittin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Hercule Ruiz came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Grunhutte's Flavian Caparros. But to his dismay, Flavian Caparros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Baptiste Coutelle in the 73rd minute of play forced Grunhutte's goalkeeper Geoffroy Sanchis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Jean-Baptiste Coutelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jérémie Ferrer during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavian Caparros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Flavian Caparros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Hercule Ruiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Thomas Logez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. galactico fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grunhutte the free kick. After 90 played minutes galactico fc got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Logez. Grunhutte's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
