Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Redouane Viala took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marseille Football Club's Ramzi Guilloux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Gontard in the 8th minute of play. Albert Agogue charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Agogue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lionel Vautier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jordy Philippart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albert Agogue was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. 19 minutes into the match, Marseille Football Club's Josselin Sautereau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jordy Philippart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Kilian Gérin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramzi Guilloux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Redouane Viala, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marseille Football Club's Ramzi Guilloux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Gontard in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Redouane Viala in the 31st minute of play forced Marseille Football Club's goalkeeper Ramzi Guilloux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cestas's Vincent Moniot got a free kick in the 47th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Josselin Sautereau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marseille Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Josselin Sautereau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordy Philippart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Josselin Sautereau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Philippart having to interfere. Redouane Viala struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ramzi Guilloux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestas. With a little luck, Marseille Football Club's Ramzi Guilloux got control of the ball when Etienne Gontard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Redouane Viala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josselin Sautereau might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordy Philippart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josselin Sautereau ran back to his position shaking his head. Brandon Prouteau hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cestas's zone, Lionel Vautier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Philippart came out of the goal and Lionel Vautier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Etienne Gontard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramzi Guilloux having to make a save. When Etienne Gontard came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cestas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etienne Gontard couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Marseille Football Club's goalkeeper Ramzi Guilloux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Etienne Gontard. Jordy Philippart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Vautier in the 92nd minute of play. Jordy Philippart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josselin Sautereau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Vincent Moniot in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marseille Football Club's Lionel Vautier. The Marseille Football Club manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cestas to win.
