Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dylan De Araujo kicked off to start the match. Vernhole's Laurent Mauger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Dury in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Tanneron booed when Vernhole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Champion didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Vernhole:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tanneron:s goal. In the 10th minute, Raymond Dieval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tanneron's Elias Stoecklin got a free kick in the 12th minute. Willy Leone, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Romuald Daguerre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rayanne Schmit in the 18th minute. Gilbert Dury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurent Mauger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Dury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Dylan De Araujo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romuald Daguerre. Tanneron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dylan De Araujo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Tanneron's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan De Araujo came free, but Romuald Daguerre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Gilbert Dury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Mauger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rayanne Schmit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigue Alleaume hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rayanne Schmit in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romuald Daguerre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Romuald Daguerre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dylan De Araujo's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The Vernhole fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Vernhole's Quentin Champion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Dylan De Araujo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vernhole fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan De Araujo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tanneron's zone, Dylan De Araujo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romuald Daguerre came out of the goal and Dylan De Araujo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Willy Leone hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernand Bisiaux in the 74th minute of play forced Vernhole's goalkeeper Laurent Mauger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rayanne Schmit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Romuald Daguerre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tanneron's Rodrigue Alleaume got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fernand Bisiaux's late challenge caught a Vernhole's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernand Bisiaux helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Tanneron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Bisiaux to maneuver through the defense. In the 78thth minute of the game Dylan De Araujo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tanneron's Romuald Daguerre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Fernand Bisiaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Mauger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dylan De Araujo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romuald Daguerre saved Tanneron from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Mohamed-Ali Bourgeon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Dury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Mauger having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Vernhole players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
