Sablot's supporters rose to their feet, but Lilian Loir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaetan Sole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brandon Bassot hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Vallauris's Lucas Weber tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vallauris's Steve Naulet got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sablot's Germain Thouin got a free kick in the 16th minute. Vallauris's attack was well implemented in the 21st minute, but when Steve Naulet was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The audience was convinced that Steve Naulet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bob Uhl was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alban Debert in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaetan Sole saved Vallauris from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Lucas Weber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaetan Sole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alban Debert in the 75th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Alban Debert notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vallauris's Gaetan Sole. Vallauris's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
