The Varage fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Demoulin should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Aurélien Collette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Demoulin was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Aurélien Collette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raoul Fasquelle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raoul Fasquelle in the 56th minute of play forced Sete fc's goalkeeper Damien Le Guern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Geoffroy Darmon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damien Le Guern quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Sete fc's zone, Ronald Degraeve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damien Le Guern came out of the goal and Ronald Degraeve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Wagner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonathan Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varage's Alfred Demoulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérémie Lavallee in the 67th minute of play.
