Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hakim Huby got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Trégorff's goalkeeper Hubert Jean-Louis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evan Charvet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakim Huby in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antony Esnault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12thth minute of the game Hakim Huby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS Saint-Etienne's Antony Esnault was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evan Charvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Trégorff's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Philippe Gauthier came free, but Hubert Jean-Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, AS Saint-Etienne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Philippe Gauthier to maneuver through the defense. Reynald Appere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Antony Esnault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antony Esnault didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hakim Huby went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reynald Appere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Antony Esnault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antony Esnault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakim Huby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakim Huby in the 31st minute of play forced AS Saint-Etienne's goalkeeper Antony Esnault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Philippe Gauthier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hubert Jean-Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Evan Charvet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hubert Jean-Louis. The goal made the score 2-1. Faouzi Warin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Trégorff:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AS Saint-Etienne:s goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when AS Saint-Etienne's Jean-Philippe Gauthier in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hubert Jean-Louis was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Trégorff through an amazing save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Philippe Gauthier to make the kick off. The supporters of AS Saint-Etienne booed when Trégorff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynald Appere didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trégorff's goalkeeper Hubert Jean-Louis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Trégorff getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jimmy Sanchis hit a great ball. Reynald Appere's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Antony Esnault skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Youssef Trichard fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Saint-Etienne's protests and gave Youssef Trichard a yellow card for diving instead. Youssef Trichard hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Reynald Appere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Esnault having to interfere. Reynald Appere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Antony Esnault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hubert Jean-Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Gauthier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hubert Jean-Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evan Charvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88thth minute of the game Jean-Philippe Gauthier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trégorff's Hubert Jean-Louis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hubert Jean-Louis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Philippe Gauthier in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the AS Saint-Etienne defense, Reynald Appere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antony Esnault. The AS Saint-Etienne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antony Esnault should have stopped the shot. If Evan Charvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
