Edmond Vandevelde came out of the goal and Martin Huguenin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Autin struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edmond Vandevelde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arpajon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achille Lemaître in the 20th minute of play forced Arpajon's goalkeeper Oscar Lescure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Vandevelde made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Benjamin Autin sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes Arpajon got a freekick which was hit by Olivier Bossuet. With his leg Edmond Vandevelde managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Arpajon's Benjamin Autin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lancey's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Martin Huguenin 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Benjamin Autin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arpajon's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Autin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Vandevelde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Daniel Vanier managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Huguenin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Huguenin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmond Vandevelde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Calonne charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Calonne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arpajon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yoann Giraud was slow to take the kick. During this time Lancey's players had a chance to rest. When Achille Lemaître came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lancey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Lemaître couldn't finish the play. Achille Lemaître could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Oscar Lescure made a huge save. With a little luck, Arpajon's Oscar Lescure got control of the ball when Achille Lemaître tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sébastien Buffiere hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Arpajon's Edmond Ducatez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmond Vandevelde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Arpajon had won after a very even match.
