Jean-Yves Névès's late challenge caught a Ultras Modanais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moussa Rivals took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles-Emmanuel Soumare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 61 minutes, Charles-Emmanuel Soumare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garidech's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles-Emmanuel Soumare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Moussa Rivals managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Garidech's Cyprien Mathiot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Cyprien Mathiot notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ultras Modanais's Moussa Rivals. Moussa Rivals was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Ultras Modanais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garidech were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
