In the 7th minute, Ferdinand Couret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Brendan Bodinier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rémi Vazquez, 1-0. Florent Dechamps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hervé Dennemont having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prosper Thomasset in the 15th minute of play forced Borghéas's goalkeeper Hervé Dennemont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borghéas's Baptiste Lourdel got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johan Burnichon charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Burnichon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Borghéas's Johan Burnichon got a free kick in the 20th minute. Baptiste Lourdel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brendan Bodinier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémi Vazquez having to interfere. Rémi Vazquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baptiste Lourdel in the 41st minute. When Brendan Bodinier came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Borghéas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendan Bodinier couldn't finish the play. Brendan Bodinier might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rémi Vazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brendan Bodinier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 49th minute, Baptiste Lourdel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brendan Bodinier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Borghéas's Brendan Bodinier made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rémi Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rémi Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Bodinier, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hervé Dennemont didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florent Dechamps went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Bois Impérial's Ferdinand Couret got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute Brendan Bodinier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rémi Vazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baptiste Lourdel in the 74th minute of play forced Bois Impérial's goalkeeper Rémi Vazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baptiste Lourdel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rémi Vazquez having to interfere. Bois Impérial's Rémi Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Bodinier in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baptiste Lourdel in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rémi Vazquez saved Bois Impérial from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Prosper Thomasset managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bois Impérial's supporters rose to their feet, but Prosper Thomasset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hervé Dennemont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 100th minute Prosper Thomasset shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hervé Dennemont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
