France's Enzo Longo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Cartigny in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kilian Cartigny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Longo was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kilian Cartigny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Enzo Longo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tim Pagnoux managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Pagnoux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Bruneau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Chris Fert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Pagnoux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Marcadet kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tim Pagnoux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdel Cabaret's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdel Cabaret helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Rieulay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Cabaret to maneuver through the defense. Rieulay's Xavier Bruneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gergaud in the 35th minute of play. Marvin Combettes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Enzo Longo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Cartigny, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Kilian Cartigny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rieulay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kilian Cartigny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kilian Cartigny made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kilian Cartigny in the 51st minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Enzo Longo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. France's Aziz Lecompte got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donald Gascon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Longo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Cartigny, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 67th minute, Rieulay's Donald Gascon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enzo Longo. Enzo Longo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Xavier Bruneau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Pagnoux went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 74 minutes, Didier Le Mentec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rieulay and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. Didier Le Mentec kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kilian Cartigny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kilian Cartigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Gascon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Longo having to interfere. Flavien Potel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
