Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bâtie's Ghislain Lubin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Célestin Guillaumet charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célestin Guillaumet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bâtie getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Célestin Guillaumet hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Julien Giovannetti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Philippe Paget showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Marcel Carcenac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bardelle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bâtie the free kick. Marcel Carcenac hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Axel Austruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bâtie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Austruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bob Hersant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Axel Austruy sent off a good shot on target. Richard Toure charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Toure the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bâtie booed when Bardelle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Toure didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bâtie's Benoît Legoupil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 21st minute, Bâtie's Ghislain Lubin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Axel Austruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Bardelle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevan Pétry to maneuver through the defense. Bob Hersant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ghislain Lubin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Célestin Guillaumet kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Bâtie's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Nowak came free, but Jean-Philippe Paget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Bardelle's Victorien Decroix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Philippe Paget narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Bâtie got a freekick which was hit by Malik Bossard. 41 minutes into the game, Ghislain Lubin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bob Hersant. Ghislain Lubin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Benjamin Nowak took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Philippe Paget. Jean-Philippe Paget dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Ghislain Lubin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Hersant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Ghislain Lubin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Hersant having to interfere. Bardelle's Benjamin Nowak got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Nowak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Philippe Paget having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrice Boulnois during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabrice Boulnois hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jean-Philippe Paget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Giovannetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, Bâtie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célestin Guillaumet to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Nowak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghislain Lubin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Hersant having to interfere. Victorien Decroix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean-Philippe Paget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Nowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
